Join us here as we, with the help of a photo display, lead you through the shopping experience that is Country Accents Antiques. Simply click on the links as they appear to view the store, grounds, etc. Enjoy your pictorial tour of Country Accents Antiques.
That's Annie down there snoozing in front of two large display cabinets of Blue Willow china. She may require an ear scratch as the price of admittance.
Some things that you should know before we get too far into the store. We do our own refinishing on site and we do a professional job. We want you to be able to take our mechandise home and actually use it. We can also arrange delivery for any item on the premises through Roll'en Hills. Go to the "Contact Us" section of this site for more information on Roll'en Hills.
In addition to our cabinets and back bars, there are any number of decorator items, antique advertisements, wagons, cash registers, and what we antique dealers like to call "smalls". In short, we've got a lot of stuff. Just click on Shop Tour to have a closer look.
When you exit the back, straight ahead are the gardens. Then a little to the right you see what we call Old Towne. Old Towne is a charming replica of an early Texas set of storefronts and were the actual retail shops of the late Dorris and Warren Lee. That's Old Towne that you see pictured on the right. The left end is a Jail that we use as our Lay-Away Department. Seriously.
From the back porch, if you look directly to the right, you will see some of our ornamental iron to decorate your own garden. There's more ornamental iron there on the back porch, and, spread around the gardens you will find weathervanes, arches, sculptures, and benches.
Take your time and indulge your interests or just relax in the breeze on the porch of Old Towne. Click on Old Towne and Ornamental Iron for a photographic tour.
Next up is -well, we don't quite know what to call it - so let's just say the "Barn". The Barn contains architectural antiques and items that can be outside as long as they are covered. It also includes items that our professional restoration crew has not yet had the time nor space to move into the workshop for service.
The mechandise "stored" in the Barn varies on a regular basis since it is intended as a temporary location for many of the items. For a quick trip through the Barn just click Barn Tour
Need a break? Take it easy and stroll our gardens. We have a variety of flowering plants that attract butterflies and birds.
Make it a point to enjoy the herbs that, in addition to their colors, will delight your sense of smell.
The wild birds are attracted to the feeders spread about. Don't be surprised by the chickens, the guineas, or Sam the rooster. They all add to the
peaceful atmosphere if not to the silence. Find a seat and enjoy the view or walk about and be delighted by the unexpected.
We have walking paths, but, go ahead, walk on the grass.
For a sneak peek click on Garden Tour to see some of the sights.
If all that shopping and garden strolling has worked up an appetite, you should consider The Wild Sage Steakhouse. That's the main entrance
depicted in the photo on the left. You can get the hours of operation and the exact location by selecting "Contact Us" above.
What we want you to understand here is that the restaurant is a continuation of the antique shop. All the tables, chairs, and decorations used in The Wild Sage Steakhouse
are offerings of the antique shop. Where else can you get your dessert, your table, and your chairs packed for carry-out? You can even buy someone else's
table. Well, this could get complicated, so carry-out may not be an option but you can definitely buy it and then we can negotiate delivery. How's that?
Click on Wild Sage Tour to see some interior views of the restaurant.
